Job Overview

Maraline Global Private Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to lead the development of robust backend systems, APIs, automation solutions, data-processing applications, and technology platforms.

The successful candidate will contribute to technical architecture, development standards, code quality, system performance, and the mentoring of developers working on assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Design and develop scalable Python applications, backend services, and APIs.

•⁠ ⁠Develop application architecture and reusable backend components.

•⁠ ⁠Build RESTful APIs and integrate internal and third-party services.

•⁠ ⁠Work with structured and unstructured data processing workflows.

•⁠ ⁠Design and optimize database interactions and application performance.

•⁠ ⁠Develop automation and data-processing solutions where required.

•⁠ ⁠Write maintainable, testable, secure, and production-ready Python code.

•⁠ ⁠Conduct code reviews and maintain development standards.

•⁠ ⁠Diagnose complex technical and production issues.

•⁠ ⁠Implement appropriate logging, monitoring, testing, and error-handling practices.

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with cloud, frontend, mobile, data, and product teams.

•⁠ ⁠Participate in solution architecture and technical planning.

•⁠ ⁠Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to project teams and interns where appropriate.

Required Skills

•⁠ ⁠Advanced proficiency in Python.

•⁠ ⁠Strong experience with Django, FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.

•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of REST API design and backend architecture.

•⁠ ⁠Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.

•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of ORM frameworks and database optimization.

•⁠ ⁠Experience with asynchronous processing and background jobs.

•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.

•⁠ ⁠Experience deploying applications to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

•⁠ ⁠Understanding of CI/CD and modern development practices.

•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of Git.

•⁠ ⁠Experience with automated testing.

•⁠ ⁠Understanding of application security and secure coding principles.

Preferred Skills

•⁠ ⁠Microservices architecture.

•⁠ ⁠Redis and caching technologies.

•⁠ ⁠Celery or similar task-processing systems.

•⁠ ⁠Data engineering and ETL workflows.

Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

•⁠ ⁠5+ years of professional Python development experience preferred.

•⁠ ⁠Experience designing and delivering production-grade applications.
